My mother says that when I was a child I would say that I was happy as long as I have a pencil in my hand. I do not recall such statement but I remember myself always making drawings on the floor with a piece of chalk. They were caricatures of neighbors, schoolmates, relatives or strangers from my daily life in Santa Fe, Argentina.
Circumstances kept me on and off the illustrator path in my adult life, and I found myself spending most of the time doing design and commercial photography. But illustration always comes back to rescue me from reality. Fortunately, it seems that there are still vestiges of that happy kid in this domesticated adult.
This page shows some of my illustrations, made from traditional to modern techniques.
